Can you believe that a single person created the large variety of art presented on this website? To find out how it is possible, get acquainted with Ode Droit, all-in-one sculptress, painter, designer and art instructor.   Ode was born in Epinay sur Seine, near Paris, France. At a young age she began taking art classes at "La Grande Chaumière" and proceeded to study design at "Ecole Noréro". After working as a fashion designer with Christian Dior she opened her own business on the French Riviera. There, she skillfully combined fine arts with high fashion design, but ultimately decided to concentrate exclusively on art. This dedication led her to "École des Beaux Arts" in Avignon, where she studied under famous sculptor Louis Ball. Part of their work together was a monumental sculpture for the palace of the popes in Avignon. The renowned sculptress Gine Peynaud (a student of Antoine Bourdelle) also privately taught her sculpture and molding. She went on to work at Victorine Studio in Nice with Alexandre Mari, applying modern sculpture techniques to the creation of monumental movie sets.
During recent travels in India, Nepal and the Sikkim, Ode studied oriental art techniques, which enabled her to restore a fresco at Bhutia Busty monastery (photo) in Darjeeling (India) and to work on mural paintings for a new Stupa, near Denver, Colorado.
	Ode's works have been exhibited in France at Raymond Duncan gallery (Paris), Hall Midi Libre (Uzes), Delos Gallery (Grandemotte), Jivar Gallery (Orange), Mod'Art Deco (Nimes and Nice). She has won prizes at international shows in Cannes, Béziers, and with the European traveling show Art Inter. She also won the Chateaurenard City Award. She now resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where she presented exhibits at the French-American Chamber of Commerce, "Passport to France", the Fritzi Gallery, Gallery Giftissimo, and the House of Colors Gallery, as well as at Chateau Élan (Braselton).
Recent works include: the life-size sculpture "Christ heals the sick child". sculptures for private gardens, for example "Waiting for the seasons". large fountains, such as the "Fuller-Callaway" and "Tritons". restoration of frescoes and sculptures in India that had been damaged by monsoon rains. frescoes and paintings executed using old techniques, with oil paint, pigments and media, such as "Planning his response", "Book of Knowledge" and "Vineyard". classical paintings, such as "Renoir". contemporary acrylic paintings for businesses, such as "Garden patio corner", "Ranchero" and "Lake". decorative and furniture painting.
